Officials to evaluate curfew, Covid-19 restrictions in darkish red provinces at present

The Centre for Covid-19 Situation Administration meets at present to evaluate the curfew in place in dark pink provinces, and to debate the easing of some restrictions. However, Dr Opas Karnkawinpong from the Department of Disease Control says the CCSA might be requested to maintain the 9pm – 4am curfew as is till the top of this month. While the hours may be adjusted according to the wants of every province, Opas says they should be saved as they’re in Bangkok until the tip of September.
The Bangkok Post reports that the Public Health Ministry may also propose the easing of some restrictions, similar to permitting nursing houses to simply accept people in need of care. However, it’s understood that stringent disease control measures will remain in pressure for now.
A proposal to administer 24 million vaccine doses during the month of October will also be offered to the CCSA today. Unconditional expects to obtain 10 million AstraZeneca doses, eight million Pfizer doses, and 6 million Sinovac doses, with Pfizer confirming the primary 2 million will arrive on the end of September.
According to the Bangkok Post report, the ministry is sticking to its plan to administer the Pfizer vaccine to kids between the ages of 12 and 18, despite some stories of heart irritation in kids who’ve received the vaccine in other international locations. Opas insists such instances are rare.
“The good thing about vaccines nonetheless outweighs the disagreeable situations.”

Meanwhile, the ministry has permitted the administration of booster doses to people who discover themselves already vaccinated, but Opas says this can rely upon the supply of AstraZeneca and Pfizer doses, as these will be the only vaccines used as boosters..
