Waukesha Magnetic Bearings achieves new health & security certification

Under the table , which specialises in custom-engineered magnetic bearing methods for turbomachinery and high-performing rotating gear, has lately achieved ISO 45001:2018 Occupational Health & Safety (OH&S) Management Systems Certification.

The company is now certified in three completely different ISO standards, together with ISO 9001:2015 Quality, ISO 14001:2015 Environmental and now ISO 45001:2018 Occupational Health and Safety.
ISO 45001:2018 is the world’s first international normal centered on health and security with a goal of ensuring corporations have a secure and healthy workplace for all employees and guests. This new commonplace is used to establish an effective OH&S management system for preventing work-related injury and sickness, as well as proactively improve health and safety efficiency.
Kristy Benedatti, UK Health and Safety manager for Waukesha Magnetic Bearings, said: “Achieving ISO 45001:2018 certification showcases our serious commitment to our employees and clients by continuously evaluating and improving our security procedures to ensure we meet the highest standards on the planet.”
The firm started inside preparation for certification in 2019 via evaluation of existing procedures and development of new procedures to align with ISO 45001:2018 requirements. Benadatti added: “By together with ISO 45001:2018 requirements inside our Integrated System Manual, we ensured consistency of our insurance policies and procedures across three main features of our organization: quality, the setting and now safety.”
