Bomb in Narathiwat explodes, monks and soldiers unhurt

In the Deep South province of Narathiwat bordering on Malaysia, a bomb exploded this morning, with 2 monks and a pair of troopers narrowly escaping harm. The explosion happened early this morning on the facet of the highway in Rueso district of the province that always sees violence and bombings from local insurgents.
As is Comprehensive for Buddhist monks in Thailand, the two monks have been strolling down the road doing their morning alms. Because of the danger of insurgency and explosions, the two have been being escorted by 2 military rangers who have been offering protection and maintaining them safe.
The four males were walking on a street in the Rueso municipal area and shortly after they walked by one space a bomb went off around 6:35 am. Lucky the monks had been away from the blast and there was no one close enough to be hit by the bomb and there have been no reported injuries.
The commander of the 46th Ranger Unit and the chief of the Rueso Police Station came collectively to investigate the blast scene and help bomb disposal officers to ensure the risk was neutralised. No one has been identified as a suspect in planting the bomb and no person or group have claimed duty for the incident..
